Primary Care Recommendation

• First Wash Dry Clean Only: Recommended for the first wash to lock in the deep rust-orange dye and protect the threadwork embroidery.

Gentle Hand Wash Instructions (Subsequent Washes)

• Detergent: Use a mild liquid silk/delicate detergent or baby shampoo. Avoid powder detergents, bleach, or harsh stain removers.

• Washing Method: Wash gently in cold water with a quick dip-and-rinse. Do not soak for more than 3–5 minutes, and never rub, scrub, or wring the fabric.

• Separate Wash: Wash separately to avoid catching the delicate flared gathers on other garments.

Drying & Ironing

• Drying: Press excess water out gently between clean towels. Air dry flat in shade; direct sunlight will fade the rust-orange shade and weaken fibers.

• Ironing: Use a low-heat or silk setting on the reverse side. Place a thin cotton press cloth over embroidered areas.

• Storage: Store folded inside a breathable cotton or muslin cover.
