Primary Care Recommendation

• First Wash Dry Clean Only: Highly recommended for the first 1–2 washes to set the deep olive dye and protect the metallic embroidery threadwork.

Gentle Hand Wash (Subsequent Washes)

• Detergent: Use a mild liquid detergent meant for silks or delicates. Avoid harsh powders, bleach, or stain removers.

• Washing Method: Wash gently in cold water with a quick dip-and-rinse. Do not soak, scrub, or wring the fabric, as this can damage the woven silk texture and embroidery.

• Separate Wash: Always wash separately from light-colored garments.

Drying & Storage Instructions

• Drying: Air dry in a shaded area. Never hang in direct sunlight, which can fade the olive tone and dull the sheen. Flat dry on a towel to avoid stretching.

• Ironing: Iron on low-to-medium heat on the reverse side (inside out) using a cotton press cloth over the embroidery. Do not steam heavily over hand-worked areas.

• Storage: Store folded in a clean, breathable cotton garment bag in a dry place.
